I'm Ian Ciesielski, and I'm happy you found my site. I'm an Emergency Medicine physician with fellowship training in Emergency Ultrasound at the University of Pennsylvania. I have been scanning brains, including my own, for the last five years and I love the excitement and discovery that comes with innovating and contributing to the fields of Emergency Medicine and Point-of-Care Ultrasound and to the care of our patients.

Whether you think you want to learn and use brain ultrasound clinically or not, I hope you stick around long enough to learn more. I'm just here to put tools in your toolbox--you decide whether to use them. And remember, you don't get to decide not to use a tool that you never had in the first place!

If you'd like to know more about me, see my CV below. If you'd like to get a hold of me, the contact section of this site goes directly to my inbox. Happy scanning!
